Some beneficiaries of Rescue Volunteers Ghana self development program were awarded on Sunday 29th November at the New Life Orphanage, Nungua, Accra.  The dedicated beneficiaries have attained a level in their various vocations and the organisation sees it as a great achievement having come that far.  Consequently, Citations were presented to them to urge them on to focus on their goal with determination.  They were advised that the height they have reached is a platform for them to pursue their goal on one hand and to be mentors to others on the other hand.  Rescue Volunteers Ghana remains their guide and support on this journey as they choose to be blessing on to others in this life.

The Ceremony brought people from the Nungua community to witness.  The elderly under the support of Rescue Volunteers Ghana were also present at the Award Ceremony to participate and receive Christmas packages. In the same way the ninety-two (92) orphans with the orphanage were entertained and refreshed.  This was to encourage the orphans to face the future with determination and seize the opportunity available to them now and work towards a better future.

The Theme for the ceremony was ‘today’s opportunities lead to a better future’.  The host of the program was the founder of the orphanage, Nii Afotey Botwe who showed great appreciation to Rescue Volunteers Ghana and confirmed the agreement signed between the two organisations to assist in developing orphans and needy children for a better future.  He mentioned also that the ceremony will encourage the orphans to put value on the assistance given them at the Home and use the opportunity well.

Rescue Volunteers extends its gratitude to Major Alex Wondei who travelled all the way from Liberia to partake in the ceremony, Rev. Ebenezer Odai-Tettey, Rev. Charles Kaboo, Dr. and Apostle Mrs Vanderpuije, congregants of the Rhema Chapel at Nungua and other pastors and ministers of the Gospel in partnership with Rescue Volunteers Ghana who were in attendance to support the ministry / charity work. We are much grateful to these ministers who took turns to present awards to beneficiaries and shared the grace of the Almighty God with all present. Likewise to all well wishers and media house present Rescue says Ayekoo!  May God bless us all.
