Elderly and Widows: Program outline for 2021

Rescue Volunteers offer care services to the elderly and widows in diverse ways; at a monthly retreat, we sing and pray and share the word of God.  We engage resource persons to talk on issues that pertains to their needs.  They are given the opportunity to interact and feel at home. Rescue also gives them food items to take home after they have been refreshed.

Below is the 2021 monthly retreat Schedule:

Monday February 1^st   –           Bible study and prayers

Monday March 1^st       –           COVID-19 Awareness

Wednesday April 1^st   –           The Elderly and vaccination

Monday May 3^rd         –           Loneliness and depression

Monday Jun 7^th           –           Elderly, A blessing to society

Monday July 5^th          –           Old age home

Monday August 2^nd    –           Importance of routine check-up

Monday September 6^th –         Guard against falling

Monday October 4^th    –           Living in a safe environment

Monday November 1^st –          Daily upkeep (personal initiative)

Monday December 6^th –          Time with your maker
