Rescue Volunteers Ghana believes in the identity of the Ghanaian which seem to be shrouded by western influence. This is gradually relegating the rich Ghanaian culture to the background in taste for clothing, food and shelter. We believe that the narration has to change and the time is now. Coincidentally, the National Centre for Arts and Culture (Arts Centre), has as part of its mandate to promote and preserve the culture of Ghana especially that of the Greater Accra Region.
Pursuant of the above, Rescue Volunteers followed up on the plan to collaborate with the Arts Centre to coordinate the efforts of other organizations and individuals with similar interest, to foster unity among Ghanaians through cultural exposure and youth empowerment aimed at projecting the true identity of the Ghanaian.
22nd December 2020 was set aside to sign a memorandum of understanding between Rescue Volunteers, Ghana and the Arts Centre to mark the beginning of the journey.
