The challenge

The special needs of the people are erroneously considered to be disability.  This affects them emotionally and contributes to their unwillingness to fend for themselves and rather depend on society and in effect attracting other abled people to aid them in seeking for alms.  In the traffic intersections are numerous people living with special needs “disabilities” whose interest is to expose their infirmity for profit.  They even accost people on their begging expeditions and show offensive images and marks of afflictions to pedestrians and drivers alike to extort money.

Solution

Rescue Volunteers encourages people with special needs to join associations and partake in activities that can assist them find help to their special needs.  We also work with the executives of the special needs groups to organize capacity building programs for their members and assist those in trade to enhance their career. 

Rescue Volunteers seeks to partner other orgnisations and individuals with similar objectives to offer more tailored assistance to the target group.
