The challenge
Education is continuous and diverse. We identify the educational challenges of our clients, no matter their age, and assist them to enroll in vocations that bring the best out of them. Likewise seeking scholarships for the brilliant but needy ones to further their education to higher heights, both at home and abroad.
The Solution
Rescue volunteers are committed to helping underprivileged people add value to their lives through education.
Access program is designed to prepare school dropouts or those facing difficulty in catching up with their mates due to financial difficulty and other socio-economic issues. Rescue Volunteers partner with other organizations to organize Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and relevant remedial classes during summer to bridge the gap for beneficiaries.
The program guides and involves the individuals in the process. It provides an accessible approach to ensure their success, regardless of the obstacles.
We have initiated partnerships with churches to run weekly literacy programs for those who did not have the opportunity to attend formal education. Our main focus is on people engaged in trade and other vocations.
Rescue volunteers teach them to read and write in their native language first, and then complement that with English language and basic mathematics.
Our literacy program helps them to read and write, enabling them to carry out their basic daily business activities.
The Summer Mentorship Exchange focuses on international cultural exchange to broaden the horizon of participants and offer them the necessary analytical skills and mentors to look up to in their path.
Additionally, Rescue volunteers assist bright but needy students in applying for and obtaining scholarships to further their education. We also offer career counseling to help guide students as they progress through their educational journey. Periodically, needy beneficiaries receive material and financial support depending on the availability of funds.
